Answer: 3 days in they will bot charge 39$

Step-by-step explanation:

Biking shack= 21+6d(d for days)

Bike nation=12+9d

to figure it out lets plug in 1 day for each so for shack that is 29 dollars. for nation that is 21 dollars. now 2 days shack is 33. 2 days for nation is 30. now try 3 days and for shack that is 39 dollars. for nation it is also 39! so there is your answer, 3 days in and they will both cost 39 dollars, hope this helps! :)

Which of the following is the measure of side a?
23.3
144
8
16
jenyasd209 [6]

Step-by-step explanation:

it is a right-angled triangle, so the side lengths need to fulfill the Pythagoras rule :

c² = a² + b²

where c is the Hypotenuse, the baseline opposite of the 90 degree angle. and a and b (often called legs) are the sides "enclosing" the 90 degree angle.

so, we have

20² = a² + 12²

400 = a² + 144

a² = 256

a = 16

FYI - we could have picked the right answer also by eliminating the wrong given answer options.

as this is a right-angled triangle :

a cannot be longer than the baseline (20).

that eliminates already the first 2 options.

and then look at the picture : a cannot be shorter than b (the other side line (12)).

that eliminates the third option.

100 - r = 99.52

What's r
Mrrafil [7]
100-r=99.52
First, add r to both sides.
100-r+r=99.52+r
And then simplify.
100=99.52+r
Then, subtract 99.52 from both sides.
100-99.52=99.52+r-99.52
And simplify.
0.48=r
So,
r=0.48

It says circle the terms,then simplify each expression to 5•3+4
RoseWind [281]
So first you have to do PEMDAS (Parenthesis, Exponent, Multiply, Divide, Add, Subtract). Now, when you do PEMDAS, you need to go from left to right in the order I just described to you.

So in this situation, first multiply 5 times 3 to get 15. Next is addition. 15+4=19.

PS sorry for taking so long.

A town has a population of 12000 and grows at 3.5% every year. What will be the population after 7 years, to the nearest whole n
Setler79 [48]

Answer:

15,267

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve this problem, lets use the exponential growth formula which is:A = P(1+r)^t

A = total amount

P = original amount

r = growth rate (decimal)

t = years

Before we plug in the values, don't forget to change 3.5% to its decimal form.

3.5% -> \frac{3.5}{100} -> 0.035

Lets plug in the values:

A=12,000(1+0.035)^7

A=15,267

The population after 7 years will be 15,267.
