The second option is the correct answer. World War II gave women numerous new job opportunities. Jobs that had never been exercised by women. This was explained by the great amount of departing soldiers, who left numerous positions for the women to occupy, especially in the defense plants and factories. This meant a cultural change, breaking with pre-established stereotypes.

Discuss the reasons why Islam succeeded in sub-Saharan and East Africa?
Lana71 [14]

Answer:

People who have answered so far have no idea what they are talking about. Islam had started spreading into Africa even during the time of prophet Muhammad, and except for North Africa, Muslim armies never ventured south into the Sub-Saharan region. Islam grew as a result of trade and migration of African Muslims into the south.

which statement decribes a major difference between enlightenment thinkers thomas hobbes anf John Locke
pychu [463]
Well Thomas Hobbes and John Locke had a few key beliefs that where different. One was why was Government important, Hobbes believed it was supposed to protect us from ourselves while Locke believed that they were supposed to protect our belongings. Another was who had the Sovereignty. While Locke believed that was the people, Hobbes believed it was the monarch. Another was the argument of limited government, Hobbes believed that the government should have no limits and Locke believed they should. And the last key one was that of the right of revolution, meaning if the government went out of line the people could revolt and ‘start over’, Locke believed this to be true while Hobbes did not.

The did however agree on there is no such thing as Divine Right, which is that God gives the power of the throne, and the ‘State of Nature/War’ meaning that humans can and will be naturally violently times.

I hope this helped!
