Choose the best topic sentence for the following example paragraph. There was the one time that I had to change English classes

in the middle of the year. I was really nervous, but the teacher was kind and the class welcoming. That change was not so hard. The other time that change was not so hard was when we moved to California from New York. I had never liked how loud New York City was. The new life was so much more relaxing that I forgot to be nervous. Those are the only two times when I have not struggled with change.

Periodicals and the novel became more popular as the powerful
user100 [1]

Periodicals and the novel became more popular as the powerful middle class began to read.

Explanation:

Literature and society go hand in hand. The novel became so popular among the middle class such that it was accepted as a genre and was prone to a lot of debate about society and its problems. Novels spoke extensively about topics like class, wealth and status.

Such novels were radical in nature and also challenged the existing scenario about such topics at that time too. Classical genres couldn’t come up with content which spoke about these topics, thus making the novel a popular genre.
