Select a decimal point or number from each drop-down menu to form the correct answer in decimal form. The correct answer must be

formed from left to right using adjacent drop-down menus. Select zero for any drop-down menu that is not part of the correct answer. Any unnecessary zeroes must be placed at the end of the decimal.
Cheryl wants to paint a rectangular section on her bedroom wall with texture paint. She makes this scale drawing of the section on a piece of paper using the scale 1 cm = 1.5 ft.

What is the area, in square feet, of the rectangular section of wall that Cheryl will apply texture paint? Round the answer to the nearest tenth.

The top line of the rectangle is 2.5 cm and the left side of the rectangle is 4.5 cm

1 cm = 1.5 ft is your scale

2.5 cm (on the paper) * 1.5 ft (scale) = 3.75 ft

4.5 cm (on the paper) * 1.5 ft (scale) = 6.75 ft

Since area = length * width

3.75 ft * 6.75 ft = 25.3125 ft^2

The area of the rectangular section in square feet that Cheryl will apply texture paint to would be 25.3125 ft^2

M is proportional to the cube of r. when r=3m,m=216.when r=5 find the value of m
klio [65]

Answer:

The value of m is 1000 for r=5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that m is proportional to the cube of r

It can be written as:

m \propto\ r^3

When the proportionality symbol is removed a proportionality constant is introduced in the equation.

Let k be the proportionality constant

m = kr^3

Given

r=3,m=216

Putting the values

216 = k(3)^3\\216 = k * 27\\k = \frac{216}{27}\\k = 8

The equation will now become

m = 8r^3

Putting r = 5

m = 8(5)^3\\m = 8 * 125\\m = 1000

Hence,

The value of m is 1000 for r=5

A park charges $12 for 1 round of mini golf and a reduced fee for each additional round played. If Tom paid $47 for 6 rounds of
faltersainse [42]
Set it up as an equation: 12 + 6x = 47
(x is the reduced fee)

12 + 6x = 47
12 - 12 + 6x = 47 - 12
6x = 35
x = 35/6
x = 5.83 repeating (only the 3 is repeating)
