My favorite literary period, taking into account all that have happened and its greatest representatives is: Magical Realism.
<h3>What is
Magical Realism?</h3>
Magical realism is that literary period that is based on the creation of an apparently real story, or at least believable, with fantastic or magical aspects that would even make believe that said things actually happened at some point in the past.
One of the greatest exponents of it was Gabriel García Márquez, who with his novel <em>"One Hundred Years of Solitude"</em> won the Nobel Prize.
The aforementioned novel narrates the story of José Arcadio Buendia, his wife and his future generation, who after meeting the gypsies, identify that the magical aspects are real and begin a journey that, a priori, they know will end in a descendant with a pig tail.
As well as this novel, there are many others that allow the imagination to fly and resort to the attraction of the occult and the magical, giving rise to an impressive sensation for the reader of these.
