Is the US government serving its intended purpose?
stira [4]

Answer:

Concerning the executive branch of the government in which the president is in control. It has been nothing but self-interest for a President who does nothing but belittle Minorities in order to boost his own campaign on the fuel of racism. But the legislative and judicial branches have been executing their jobs passing on laws that do not harm our constitutional rights. But in the supreme court, there have been many recent rulings promoting equality. Apart from the United States voting in a pathetic President who is only concerned with his own well being and undermining the American people, for example, cutting tax funds for social security.

aniked [119]

The discovery of the Hudson River by Henry Hudson who was an expeditionary sent by the Netherlands is part of the way in which the Netherlands established territorial claims in North America. This territory was referred to as the New Netherlands,

The Netherlands made this territorial claim to the British to consolidate their ownership of East India Company, with New Amsterdam and this area was later known as New York following the defeat of Peter Stuyvesant.

At that time, Peter Stuyvesant was the governor of the region but had no choice than to cede the area to the British because the Inhabitants refused to fight for their land.

What was the East India Company

The East India Company was an English, and later British, joint-stock company founded in 1600. It was formed to trade in the Indian Ocean region, initially with the East Indies, and later with East Asia.
