Los derretimientos de cera son trozos perfumados de cera sin mecha. Vienen en diferentes formas y tamaños. Un derretimiento de cera puede desprender un ligero olor cuando está frío; sin embargo, están diseñados para calentarse lentamente usando un calentador de tarta o cera. Un calentador de cera puede ser eléctrico, mientras que otros usan una luz de té como fuente de calefacción.

Los derretimientos de cera son muy fáciles de usar. Simplemente toma tu derretimiento de cera y coloca uno o más en tu calentador o derretidor. A continuación, encienda la luz del té o encienda el calentador de calor si es eléctrico. Cuando haya terminado de usarlos, simplemente apague o retire la fuente de calor y la cera se solidificará hasta que esté listo para usarla de nuevo.
