What did the Adams-Onís Treaty do? a. It officially ended the Second Seminole War. b. It gave East Florida to the United States.
DIA [1.3K]
From what I can recall, the Adams-Onis Treaty more or less gave Florida to the U.S. but it did not exactly end the Second Seminole War, which can be made obvious with the fact that there are Seminoles still living in Florida. I don't remember the Treaty having anything to do with the British since this treaty was between Spain and the U.S.

Basically, I believe the answer is B.

Describe Jefferson’s and Hamilton’s different visions for the new nation
Alex73 [517]

Jefferson and Hamilton diverged in what they saw as the appropriate size and role of the Federal Government in America's new Federalist system.

Hamilton believed that a strong Executive and Federal Government was needed if the US was to be successful moving forward.

Jefferson, ever wary, opposed a strong Federal executive even though he would later as President unilaterally expand the United States with the Louisiana Purchase.
