William Gilmore Simms was considered to be a good storyteller because he studied the difference between romance and novel as well as influenced it. He applied realism in his works and did not merely utilize the fantastic concepts of romance. Critics lauded him for his works for being a master storyteller due to the humorous and realistic nature of his works. However, due to the fact that he separated the romantic and realistic aspects of his works, he created a barrier between those two.

What does this quote mean "Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred."
PIT_PIT [208]

Answer:

This quote says that it is wrong to fight for freedom by provoking violent events that frighten and anger people.

Explanation:

This is a quote from the speech "I had a dream" where Martin Luther King showed how the black population should fight for justice by being just, peaceful and respectable. To this end, he says that people should not encourage violent demonstrations that upset, frighten and provoke bitterness and hatred, but fight for freedom in a peaceful and admirable manner without opening up loopholes for negative behavior.
