Why were freedmen considered a threat<br> to the workers in the North?
Rama09 [41]
What is a Freedmen? It is a formerly enslaved person who has been released from slavery, usually by legal means.

Why is it considered a threat? Some freedmen/freedwomen was forced to labor; it is mostly considered a threat, even though "threat" isn’t the best term because of their lack of intelligence or little to no education. Some problems also includes: finding a way to forge an economically independent life in the face of hostile whites, and few other resources, such as money.
