Driving a car at high speeds would be an example of sharing risk because there's a possibility of crashing into someone else and harming others rather than it just affected yourself.

That should answer your answer.

What was the story about?

Haruki Murakami's short story "The Seventh Man" is mostly comprised of a flashback into a man's childhood, followed by a retelling of the man's life to the present.

The seventh individual appeared to be in his forties. He was a slender, tall man with a moustache and a short, but deep-looking scar close to his right eye that could have been caused by a little blade thrust.

The story's theme is don't allow fear control you, and facing your fears is the greatest way to overcome them. On page 37 of the story, it says, "But my life would never be the same again." This quote refers to how he felt a few days ago. His life was better when he returned home.

What is the first thing the reader should do to understand an unknown word?
DochEvi [55]

Answer:

The correct answer is: check the meaning.

Explanation:

When we see an unknown word in one text, the first thing we should do is check the meaning of the word in a dictionary. After that, we should memorize the word and try to use it in a certain context, in order to make sure we understood its meaning.

When we are predicting the meaning of the word, we can often make a mistake, because some words and their meanings can be quite unpredictable or illogical if someone doesn't know the etymology of the word or doesn't understand the scope of its use.
