Harry Truman's decision to drop the bomb is somewhat justified but it wasn't the right decision. The choice was losing more American army men's lives or kill the innocent people of Hiroshima. In all honesty the men and women that join the army are there to fight for their country so if given the opportunity they will take it. It was justifiable because it saved us from war and showed the Japans that if we have to we will go to the extreme, but on the other hand it was completely unjustifiable because we killed many innocent people and damaged a lot of land so the Japanese had to start over.
