They should know far in advance about this test and be given a proper time limit. No peer pressure should be put on them. Grades should not be able to be shared with fellow students. These tests contain the information that which the student learned. Some of it may need reviewed but when the student takes the test they should realize, "oh yeah I remember learning this it was hard, or it was easy this is a piece of cake" In order to pass this test is required because students in elementary need to get ready for middle school, high school, and eventually college. Things only get harder. If a student has a learning disability or is having a family emergency exceptions can be made. Teachers should be very helpful and supportive of their students. They too want the students to pass this class. A study session for students who want it should occur and a prequiz that doesn't count towards one's grade should occur also.
