Answer:

750

Explanation:

<em>I'm gonna make my best effort here... (it's been a long hecking time since SAT math last year :P)</em>

Set both equation equal:

5x = -15x + 3000

20x = 3000

x = 150

Plug into any equation because both are equal anyway:

y = 5x

y = 5(150)

y = 750

(a, b) --> (x, y)

The point is (150, 750) and b = 750

How many moles of neon would be contained in 4.0 l of neon gas at 2 atm and 127oc?
Sergeeva-Olga [200]

If the pressure, volume, and temperature are 202650 Pa, 0.004 cubic meters, and 400.15 K. Then the number of the mole is 0.24 mol.

<h3>What is thermodynamics?</h3>

It is a branch of science that deals with heat and work transfer.

We know that the Ideal gas equation is given as

PV = nRT

Where

P = Pressure (Pa)

V = Volume (in m³)

n = Number of moles (mol)

R = universal gas constant (8.314 J⋅K⁻¹⋅mol⁻¹)

T = temperature (in K)

We have

P = 2 atm = 202.65 × 10³ Pa

V = 4 liters = 0.004 m³

T = 127 °C = 400.15 K

Then we have

Then the number of the mole will be

\rm n = \dfrac{PV}{RT}\\\\\\n = \dfrac{202.65 \times 10^3 \times 0.004}{8.314 \times 400.15}\\\\\\n = \dfrac{810.6}{3326.85}\\\\\\n = 0.24365 \approx 0.24
