absolute value has the || sign around the number. If you see that, and there's a "minus" sign, then reverse it to a PLUS sign. Because absolute value is just how far away the number is to 0. So -8 is "8" to 0.
now if we have for example, -|-4| then it'd be -4 because |-4| is 4, but then -4 again cause there's a minus sign.
