Answer:

Summary: Act 1, scene 6

Duncan, the Scottish lords, and their attendants arrive outside Macbeth’s castle. Duncan praises the castle’s pleasant environment, and he thanks Lady Macbeth, who has emerged to greet him, for her hospitality. She replies that it is her duty to be hospitable since she and her husband owe so much to their king. Duncan then asks to be taken inside to Macbeth, whom he professes to love dearly.

According to Thoreau, we should…
AfilCa [17]

Answer:

According to Thoreau, we must heed our conscience, even when acknowledging its moral authority results in direct conflict with the state. As Thoreau states, “I think we should be men first, and subjects afterward” (¶4). By doing so, Thoreau implies that government can be improved.

Why do you think that Michael Moore’s style of filmmaking has been so successful?
ololo11 [35]

Answer:

I think he’s able to explain complex political topics (i.e., guns, income inequality) in simple, narrative ways that the public can easily understand. He also has a strong political point of view which makes his documentaries inherently more entertaining. Just my two cents...

PLZ Help me with this question:
FromTheMoon [43]

Answer:

Janie marries Tea Cake not long after Jody's death, and she quickly learns that he has troubling characteristics. Janie declares in her letter to Pheoby that she has fallen in love with him all over again <u><em>"Not even the Tea Cake can pull me away from here. Oh, I'd rather stay put." </em></u>Janie, who has been through two failed marriages, understands what she wants and is confident in her decision to marry Tea Cake, despite the risks. Tea Cake's primary motivation is self-interest, which he frequently masks by claiming he cares deeply for Janie. Hurston portrays Tea Cake not as a good or terrible person but as a complex and difficult-to-understand individual. Tea Cake, on the other hand, risked his life to save Janie from a rabid dog in the middle of the storm. Tea Cake is a complex character that is dearly loved by Janie and who defies simple classifications like "good" or "bad."

This novel taught me the most important lesson. Keep an open mind and do not base your decisions on the views of others. Despite my eagerness and openness to hear what others have to say, I have a hard time listening. I shall draw my own judgments about the events that are occurring in the real world.

Explanation:

This is just my interpretation of the novel.

what does this mean ?standarized test are unnessary becuase they rarely show what we dont already know.
ElenaW [278]
It means that they are not essential( needed)  because they rarely show anything that we have no knowledge about and that we can't solve them easily.
