Being truthful is simply stating exactly what happened, speaking your truth can be opinionated because the truth to one person can be different to another based on their perspective of the situation

you can be truthful by actually telling what actually happened. yes, it might be hard and all but it's worth it. because in the end, if you lie, the truth will find it's way out so always be truthful no matter what. being truthful means building trust. people can build a trust with you if you're always truthful with them. that's very important, trust. i know it might be hard to always tell the truth but don't lie.
