Answer:

The Dred Scott decision was the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling on March 6, 1857, that having lived in a free state and territory did not entitle an enslaved person, Dred Scott, to his freedom. In essence, the decision argued that, as someone's property, Scott was not a citizen and could not sue in a federal court.

The first amendment is the first answer, and though the second 1 is opinionated my top three are:
1st Amendment (Freedom of Speech) because it allows the nation's people to openly speak against or for whatever they want with little to no restrictions
5th Amendment (Right to a Jury and right to remain silent) because it allows you to have a fair chance to prove your innocence in court and you will not self-incriminate without being told your right to not do so
2nd Amendment (Right to Bear Arms) because if you are going to protect yourself and your family, why not do it with one of the most powerful weapons mankind has ever created?, i have already answered this on another question so just copied it again to make sure you see it

Who was Booker T. Washington, and how did his view differ from W.E.B. Dubois?
Mamont248 [21]
Booker T. Washington was an educator and a professor and his views were different from Dubois because he believed that African-Americans should emancipate themselves and become respected members of the society based on what was perceived as the correct way of living which was the way white people lived. Dubois believed that African-Americans should not become Americanized and should stick to their culture and their beliefs and that they should fight for cultural equality, not just political one.<span />
