Lunch is the largest meal of the day in many Spanish-speaking countries, specially in Latin America. Usually it includes an animal protein (beef, pork, chicken), rice, beans, tubers like potatoes or yuca and a salad. The Spanish word for Lunch is <em>Almuerzo</em><em>, </em>and it's usually eaten at noon, perhaps between 12pm and 2pm.
