Answer:

Non point sources

Explanation:

A point source is usually a single known source of a pollution such as emission of toxic fluids from a company directly into water bodies.

Runoff of eroded soil and chemicals such as fertilizers and pesticides from cropland, feedlots, logged forests, urban streets, parking lots, lawns, and golf courses are examples of non point sources as there is no main known source of the pollution.

How can a region such as latin america still have large amounts of diversity?
Neko [114]
Nowadays, Latin America is on the spot light for International business. Several Latin American countries are becoming better off. Countries such as, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Colombia and Peru are characterized by an economic boom, financial stability, trade liberalization, demographic shifts, and an expanding middle class society. Although poverty and inequality still prevail in the region, some of these countries are evolving and are no longer fundamentally poor. Better economic conditions, a huge market and an increasing talented labor force are presenting Latin America to the world as a land rich of business opportunities. In the past 4-5 years due to the European crisis and the slowdown of growth in The United States, several Latin American countries have become recipients of increasing Foreign Direct Investment. Not only that, but also, successful corporations in the region, known as Multilatinas, have expanded to other countries in the region and abroad. Time has arrived to understand better how to do business in the region and to identify how different this task could be, depending on the country.

What is the value of X6? <br><br> Show the solution.
wariber [46]

Answer : The value of x_6 is \sqrt{7}.

Explanation :

As we are given 6 right angled triangle in the given figure.

First we have to calculate the value of x_1.

Using Pythagoras theorem in triangle 1 :

(Hypotenuse)^2=(Perpendicular)^2+(Base)^2

(x_1)^2=(1)^2+(1)^2

x_1=\sqrt{(1)^2+(1)^2}

x_1=\sqrt{2}

Now we have to calculate the value of x_2.

Using Pythagoras theorem in triangle 2 :

(Hypotenuse)^2=(Perpendicular)^2+(Base)^2

(x_2)^2=(1)^2+(X_1)^2

(x_2)^2=(1)^2+(\sqrt{2})^2

x_2=\sqrt{(1)^2+(\sqrt{2})^2}

x_2=\sqrt{3}

Now we have to calculate the value of x_3.

Using Pythagoras theorem in triangle 3 :

(Hypotenuse)^2=(Perpendicular)^2+(Base)^2

(x_3)^2=(1)^2+(X_2)^2

(x_3)^2=(1)^2+(\sqrt{3})^2

x_3=\sqrt{(1)^2+(\sqrt{3})^2}

x_3=\sqrt{4}

Now we have to calculate the value of x_4.

Using Pythagoras theorem in triangle 4 :

(Hypotenuse)^2=(Perpendicular)^2+(Base)^2

(x_4)^2=(1)^2+(X_3)^2

(x_4)^2=(1)^2+(\sqrt{4})^2

x_4=\sqrt{(1)^2+(\sqrt{4})^2}

x_4=\sqrt{5}

Now we have to calculate the value of x_5.

Using Pythagoras theorem in triangle 5 :

(Hypotenuse)^2=(Perpendicular)^2+(Base)^2

(x_5)^2=(1)^2+(X_4)^2

(x_5)^2=(1)^2+(\sqrt{5})^2

x_5=\sqrt{(1)^2+(\sqrt{5})^2}

x_5=\sqrt{6}

Now we have to calculate the value of x_6.

Using Pythagoras theorem in triangle 6 :

(Hypotenuse)^2=(Perpendicular)^2+(Base)^2

(x_6)^2=(1)^2+(X_5)^2

(x_6)^2=(1)^2+(\sqrt{6})^2

x_6=\sqrt{(1)^2+(\sqrt{6})^2}

x_6=\sqrt{7}

Therefore, the value of x_6 is \sqrt{7}.
