Videogames are part of our daily lifes, this means that teenagers will keep listening to verbs, nouns, adjectives when the charster of a videogames speak. For example, in fighting game the characters will say spesific direction and actions the players do to win. The new videogames have also come with new voice lines, meaning that would come with new vocabulary.
All that gaming has an impact on language comprehension. A 2017 peer-reviewed study published in CALICO Journal found that of young Danes who played video games in English, those who did so regularly outside school scored higher on English vocabulary tests than their peers who did not.
