Answer:

I do not see a choice of answers, but I hope that this helps you.  Miss Thomas notices that Bud is full of insect bites on his face and hands.  She finds out that he was bitten by hornets when he was locked in the Amos' shed.  Bud goes on to tell her about who his father is and the story continues.  One time at the Sweet Pea, he was crying.  She comforted Bud by putting his head up to her chest and singing to him.  She shows him the house and that he will be sleeping in a dead girl's room.  He is scared that she is going to haunt him.

Explanation:

Miss Thomas is the singer in Herman E. Calloway's band.  She becomes a maternal figure for him.  She tucks him in at night and takes care of him.  Miss Thomas is how he learns some interesting things about his mother and he will soon discover that Herman is his grandfather - not his father.

5. Pop music has often been seen as youth music. Why do you think pop music appeals to younger individuals? How has the industry
likoan [24]
Pop music is usually full of lyrics that appeal to young people that haven't had the chance to experience the world much, so the obscenities such as sex and money usually appeal to them. They are also usually fast paced and great for dancing which is not something that older audiences can do as much as the young ones. Many pop songs also emphasize youth as the greatest virtue, so it's not really adequate for an 80 year old person to behave like a 16 year old and sing how great it is to be young.

A midsummer nights dream
zmey [24]

Answer:

No, it is not.

Explanation:

The kind of love portrayed in the story, "A midsummer night's dream", is not the Agape love that we understand as Christians. Eros, that is, romantic love was displayed by the characters in Shakespeare's story. This is different from the Christian love, Agape, which is pure, sacrificial, and unconditional.

Oberon, King of the Fairies, did not also display 'Agape love' when he was not pleased with Titania for not giving him the child. He was angry with her and revenged by putting a love portion in her eyes to fall in love with Bottom. That was not the Christian love that is not easily angered, keeps no record of wrong or self-seeking.
