Can people only be complete once they embrace their ancestral culture explain why
k0ka [10]

Answer: Not exactly.

Explanation: No, I wouldn't say people are only complete when they're aware of their ancestral culture. Many people have no idea who their great great great grandma was, or even know she existed. I think a lot of people are focused on the now, and either don't have time, or just wouldn't like knowing. It is a very good thing to be proud of your culture, and where you've come from, but it is not a necessity. You don't need to embrace your culture, or race, to be confident and proud of who you are.

<em>Side note: If this wasn't what you met, I'm sorry for any inconvenience!</em>

Short story which ends with the statement “Now I know no man can be trusted’
Zepler [3.9K]

Answer:

I'm going to have fun with this.

Explanation:

I ran, and ran until there was nothing left but trees in sight. I ran through the woods, my heart pounding and my feet constantly slamming at the ground frantically. I was scared for my life because behind me was a killer. A killer who slaughtered everyone I ever loved and is now coming for me.

I cringed at every twig that broke, and every leaf that crunched beneath my feet because I knew he could hear me. The autumn wind was cold and relentless pushing me back as I pushed forward.

He came closer and closer to me and my heart raced higher with every step he took that was closer to me than before. I did not want to die. But I was helpless against him. I found a hollowed out tree and quickly sheltered within.  I heard him run past me and I stayed quiet.

As soon as I knew he was gone, I cried and cried. Everyone I ever loved is dead, I am truly alone, and now I know that no man can be trusted.

In a persuasive essay what do you use cause-and-effect reasoning
tatyana61 [14]

cause-and-effect reasoning is mostly persuasive as it helps answer the question on <em>'how' </em> <em>one person, thing, or event causing another thing or event to occur </em> or <em>'why' something happens </em>making a statement objective and rational rather than a blind assertion/affirmation.

Hope this answer helps you, have a great day!

Please help, 15 points and I will mark brainliest! Write 2 paragraphs about the character development of Roger, from "Thank you,
Lynna [10]

“Thank You, Ma’am” by Langston Hughes is a young delinquent named Roger and a woman named Luella Bates Washington Jones who takes him in after he attempts to steal from her. Throughout the story, the woman shows kindness towards Roger even though he tried to steal her purse. This causes him to have a change of heart and realize his mistakes toward the end of the story. He is comforted by Luella as she gives him advice and feeds him. She also lets him wash up in her house. In addition, she talks to him about her childhood. She tells him that she was like him as a child.

From the moment he got caught stealing from her, it was made clear that he showed her manners. Later into the story, Roger develops a sense of trust for her. He also becomes more polite. When Luella mentions that he was probably hungry to have tried to steal her pocketbook, he tells her it was because he wanted a pair of blue suede shoes. He also tells Luella there is no one at his home. This reveals to the reader how Roger is not inherently a bad person and has learned from his mistakes by the end of the story. This also shows how Roger’s character develops throughout the story.
