Jason is being told a key piece of information that will play a central role in the story. It introduces not only Jason and Mr. Manaby, but something that will drive future events, the 5:00 policy. The act of telling Jason is not yet Rising Action, however, because it only introduces the central elements of the story. The story has not yet begun to move towards its climax.

Well, they give in to temptation for food and gold. Which leads them into the Cyclopes cave. It effects them by having to be left on the island for much longer then they were going to stay, they lost crew members and they also had to find a way out.
Having kids as an adult can be tuff. It puts you in so many responsibilities and duties such as cooking and cleaning. As a parent, you will need to be there for your children through the ups and downs. Yes, sometimes you may feel like giving up but they are your responsibility for the rest of your lifetime. An example of a duty is to be a “nurse” when they get hurt. On the other hand, a responsibility is providing a roof over their head as well as food on the table. Parenting can be very hard as well as very easy. It all depends on what you are responsible for.
