(TRIGGER WARNING) I have a question for my grammar people out there!! Please help! Can a sentence have two-words? I’m writing my
Anastasy [175]

Answer: Grammar police here :) it makes perfect sense and it belongs there so good job :)

Explanation: Famous writers like Angie Thomas and many more use sentences like this to explain the characters emotions and show it better. Using “I froze” like that in a sentence helps the reader better understand what’s going on by putting periods because periods symbolize a pause and that perfect for it, “...when the loudest noise I had ever heard traveled down the hallway *pause* I froze” see what I wrote there wouldn’t be correct but like I said a period symbolizes a pause in a sentence or the end of it so it would be “...when the loudest noise I had ever heard traveled down the hallway. I froze.” See how it makes a bunch of sense. I hope it does. Lol. Hope that helped :)

Hello can you correct me this text
-BARSIC- [3]

I corrected the text for you.

You did quite well.

"<em>My name is Adriana, I am 14 years old and in the 9th grade. I have a shy personality, I'm talkative, but mostly embarrassed. However, I am brave ,tenacious, and I am a highly ambitious person. I will never give up on  anything. While I still have your attention, I would like to make my  intentions clear on why I should be elected as your class President.</em>

<em>I promise that I will be careful with things that are to happen in our school. I promise to make learning fun for everyone. I will encourage people to help each other and if you vote for me, I won't forbid phones from being used on school premises. I  will be open to any and all ideas. You can count on and trust me. I promise to help make this first High school year unforgettable. My biggest quality is to look on the bright side of life. There was a time in my life where I wanted to give up...but I remembered that life was a beautiful gift and that everyday is a new day with a new story.</em>

<em>In our school, there are problems....that is with mischievous individuals who disappoint other kids from this school. I believe that with all of these traits, I can promote and improve this class. To do this, I will always look out for others by devoting time for their needs. I promise to give detention to those who misbehave, but also give rewards to those who don't. I won't be disappointed in those who make mistakes, but instead, teach them the right and smart thing to do. I am confident that by being class president, I can make our class a happier, better place.</em>

<em>If I were elected president, I can assure you that no problems are to arise in any way. After I am elected, this class will be remembered as tenacious, brave, orderly, and smart. After all, a bright class is the right class. In order to succeed, I need your allegiance and support for me as class president,</em>

<em>I hope you will vote for me! Thank you!"</em>
