My interpretation of General Kofi Annan's state is that the importance of globalization cannot be over emphasized.

<h3>What is Globalization?</h3><h3 />

Globalization is a reality in todays World and arguing against it is akin to arguing against reality.

Globalization has made the World a global village. We are now able to communicate with people who are thousands of miles away from us.

Transportation of goods and services has become cheaper, safer and faster.

Improvements in health care has reached an all time high. With the use of a cell phone, you can communicate with a doctor in another country through telemedicine.

Education has been simplified. People now attend online classes and this has made learning easier and more flexible.

Entertainment is now at our finger tips. You can view live shows and football matches from the confort of your bedroom.

Both sides started amassing nuclear weaponry in the form of missiles and then started placing them worldwide in ally countries to defend themselves if need be. For example, the Cuban missile crisis happened when Soviets wanted to put ballistic missiles into Cuba who was an ally. The US of course did the same thing only in Europe.
