The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Think about or reflect on your past. Has your past influenced you in a way or another?

Yes, of course, my past has influenced my present, exactly as my present will influence my future.

How does your past shape your identity and behavior?

My past has taken me to the place I am today.

Good or bad, everything I have lived is experience. And the actions of my past have taught me lessons in order to not repeat the mistakes of the past and continue to do the things that served me well in the past.

I had to learn what served me to use it again, what hurt me to discard it and to never hurt or offend the people I hurt in my past.

I had to apologize and move on.

And one important thing about my past is that it taught me to adapt to change. Even more, it taught me to be ahead of necessary changes and to take a step up in a different direction.
