I play the trombone and the key signature for the song I’m supposed to play is in Bb and Eb. But there is a natural note that I’

m confused about. So if a regular D is a 4th position wouldn’t D natural also be a 4th position? Idk I could be wrong cause I’m kind of new to this please help

Yeah d natural would be regular position d. any natural note is gonna be a regular note. that’ll change as soon as you start getting into flat and sharps. but to answer your question, yeah your regular D is a natural D
