Read the excerpt from Does My Head Look Big in This? by Randa Abdel-Fattah. The Religious/Scriptures/Sacred stuff: I believe in

Allah/God’s commandments contained in the Koran. God says men and women should act and dress modestly. The way I see it, I’d rather follow God’s fashion dictates than some ugly fake-tanned old fart in Milan who’s getting by on a pretty self-serving theory of less is more when it comes to female dress. What does the narrator's tone in this passage reveal about her perspective? She does not follow a religious lifestyle. She thinks that fashion is extremely important. She is a dedicated and hard worker. She will not let other people tell her how to dress.

The narrator's tone in the passage reveal the following about her perspective:

She will not let other people tell her how to dress.

She makes it clear that she does not like fashion and its dictates, and would rather dress modestly, which is what God tells people to do in the Koran, than following the "less is more" trend.

Sumatra, who is a high school senior, a cheerleader, and the class vice president, would be more likely to be positively predisp
Tomtit [17]

Answer:

The answer is: b. Jamal, a senior captain of the football team and class treasurer.

Explanation:

The first and third option aren't possible as normally these would be the opposite; negatively predisposed, as their activities and due to this, personality, is very different. Sandy although is a cheerleader as well, is a freshman and "ages" here are very remarkable, so perhaps she would only be indiferent. On the other hand, Jamal, who is a boy and shares similar activities as Sumatra, as well as age, for these reasons he is more likely to be positively predisposed.

Write a story about a character who undergoes a change
timurjin [86]

Once upon a time there was a little boy named Charles that lived in Alaska. This boy had lots of friends there and he thought that Alaska was the best place in the world.

One day, Charles and his family had to move, since his parents couldn't find a place to work. They moved to a horrible, but cheap house in North Dakota. Charles wanted to cry. He missed all of his friends, and he didn't like North Dakota.

One day, Charles had an idea to go back to Alaska. He decided that he was going to rob a bank that night so he could recuperate the money to return to Alaska.

That night, Charles was starting his plan. When he got to the gates of the bank, he was prepared to shoot everywhere and kill many people. But after the first shoot to nowhere, three security guards caught him, and when Charles wanted to shoot them too, he realized that he didn't have any bullets left. So, the security guards shot Charles 1,000 times and he died horribly.

Never be too greedy. If you are you may have to pay back for it.
