An independent-samples t test was conducted to compare high-altitude exercise to exercise at sea-level. Imagine the mean comfort

level of participants, rated on a 7-point scale where high values reflect high comfort, at high altitude was 3.5 while the average at sea-level was 5.1. Imagine also that values were calculated for sdifference of 1.1, 2.04 for pooled variance, and 35 for degrees of freedom total. What are the critical cutoffs for this test

Answer:

-2.03, 2.03

Step-by-step explanation:

The degree of freedom (df) ;

Df total for the two samples = 35

Therefore, obtuaking the critical value using a T-test distribution at 95% confidence level.

(1 - 95%) / 2 = (1 - 0.95) / 2 = 0.05 / 2 = 0.025

Using a T critical value calculator or t table distribution ;

Tcritical, 0.025, df = 35 = 2.03

Left tail = - 2.03

Right = 2.03

Hence, critical cutoff :

(-2.03 ; 2.03)

What is the awnser to -9xt4y=-17 9x-6y=3
erma4kov [3.2K]

Solve first to find y and -9+9 =0

-9x+4y=-17

9x-6y=3

2y= -14

Y= -14/2

Y=-7

Substitute your y answer into first equation solve to find x .

-9x+4(-7)= -17

-9x-28= -17

-9x= -17+28

-9x= 11

X= 11/-9

X= -1.2222 or -1 and 2/9

So answer is (-1.2222, -7)

Ron's piano lesson starts in 2 hours. It takes him 30 minutes to get to the lesson. He has
RideAnS [48]

Answer:

2 hours=120 mins

120-(45+25)

120-(70)

50

Ron has enough time to finish his homework and walk the dog before his lesson. Ron should overestimate the total time needed. Since Ron has 50 minutes to spare he could add 25 to home work time and another 25 to walking his dog. he still ha time to do both.
