Answer:

Transpiration is the process of water movement through a plant and it’s evaporation from aerial parts, such as leaves, storms and flowers. Water is necessary for plants but only a small amount of water taken up by roots is used for growth and metabolis.

Water loss is a problem that occurs.

Explanation:

While an open stoma is neccesary for the plant to undergo photosynthesis, it comes with a negative side effect: water loss. Over 95% of a plant’s water loss occurs through the storm via water vapor.
