How did Belgian imperialism in Africa differ from British imperialism

History

The Belgium had two colonies in Africa, the massive Belgian Congo (now Congo) and Ruanda-Urundi (now countries of Rwanda and Burundi), and that’s it. Compare that to the Brits that had colonies in nearly all continents. Compared to the British, Belgian rule on its colonies was harsh. The Belgians extracted resources from its colonies nearly at gunpoint (especially in Congo) to build magnificent public infrastructure in the mother country, while doing little to educate native Africans in the colonies. The British retained traditional leaders and gave them power with colonial oversight, and established schools on its colonies.

The Belgian colonial Empire originated with the arrival of Belgium in the partition of Africa, where King Leopold II managed to obtain most of the region of the Congo. After the First World War, the Belgians obtained from Germany, through the Treaty of Versailles, the colony of Rwanda-Urundi. King Leopold II of Belgium established a private colony. The British Empire comprised colonies and other territories ruled by the United Kingdom. The climax of the empire occurred during the so-called imperial century through a series of phases of expansion with trade and colonization. The Empire increased the technology and the economic growth of the United Kingdom.

PLEASE HELP MEEEE!!!
lys-0071 [83]

a)This period was called the Dark Ages mostly due to the presence of many wars. This led to many deaths. Also, conquering and fighting other places led to the spread of diseases. It also had the Black Death.
b) The fall of the empire was mostly due to it being so large, and not having 1 ruler. It split into 2, and was soon getting attacked by the Gauls because the Huns were pushing them into Roman territory. Then the Huns themselves attacked Western Rome. Eastern Rome survived after being attacked by the Ottoman Empire. It turned into Byzantium.
d) The feudal system was the system in which the Middle Age people were categorized. The top was the king, and he was the richest. The bottom were the peasants, who were the poorest and consisted of the most people. In the middle were knights, who then served the upper class of lords and nobles.

Not having maternity or dependent sick leave was mostly a concern for women who worked from home. became homemakers. were in the
siniylev [52]

Answer:

Not having maternity or dependant sick leave was mostly a concern for women who worked in workplaces because for maternity leave the woman has to leave the work place for at least a month and workplaces did not provide such an extended leave to women.

Explanation:

Women who worked in work places did not have enough enough rights. On top of it all they were paid less than the workforce of men. Men did not have any consequences to bear to this ill treatment women had to face in the workforce.

Women working in labor force and yet going into labor was not appreciated. After a woman gave birth her value declined. Women had to fight for their rights for decades.
