At the end of the Seven Years War, Great Britain and France were having many problems to achieve peace together, much of this, because Spain did not want to recognize the conquest of Spanish lands by the British Empire. France, (in a memorable act, which allowed the Paris Treaty to work) resigned all of its North American lands, giving the territories east of the Mississippi River to England, and the French territory in the west of the Mississippi, to the Spanish Crown. Then it was forbidden for the settlers to inhabit the regions west of the Mississippi River, although in practice this was not very obeyed.

AleksandrR [38]

Answer:

Indian farmers were forced to produce cotton plantation so that it can fuel English factories as India was then under British rule. Industrial Revolution brought severe consequences to society. However, the Industrial Revolution had a significant effect on many other countries around the globe. Before the Industrial Revolution, India was the world leader in textile manufacturing and exporting. Throughout the industrial Revolution, Great Britain exploited India until India's economy all but collapsed. The impact of Industrial revolution on India was disastrousus. Mills and factories were tremandously flourished in England and other European countries, particularly the texttile industries. They destroyed the cottage industries here, looted India's rich cotton sheeds and made india the market of the British texttile product. Lakhs of weavers were killed. The Industrial revolution flourished the economy of England and other European countries while it resulted famines in Bengal and other parts of colonial India. Your Vision for Social Change
svetoff [14.1K]
My vision of the future is not a utopia. Especially considering the detrimental events that have gone on in this era, a utopia could be a viable option, but a utopia is really a dystopia in disguise. I want to see a future that continues today’s activism and fully integrates everyone and where anyone can TRULY become what they want to be. And where everyone will be accepted for who they are. Also, when people will REALLY be treated equally and with dignity. A day where police brutality will cease to exist, where racism will disappear, homophobia, xenophobia, and ICE will be a thing of the past. Those days will truly fulfill my dreams and my idea of a future.
