The fourteen points v. The treaty of Versailles agreed on how to maintain peace, why did this idea fail? In one paragraph please
Kruka [31]

Wilson 14 points failed because he wanted to join the League of Nations but congress rejected that because of the country’s in the League of Nations got into a war America would be dragged into the war. These failed to maintain peace because hitler hated the treaty of Versailles Germany had to pay all that money, couldn’t have an air force and cut there army to 100,000 men. This caused tensions in europe and the peace couldn’t continue once Germany invaded Belgium World War 2 began.

Keep in mind I’m in 8th grade but my teacher lets me do 11 th grade history because she knows I’m advanced.
