No, the first one you did get correct but the second, third and fourth are wrong here is you correct answer.
F(x) = 4x - x to the second power
So you substitute x for the numbers under x.
The second answer under f(x) is wrong it’s suppose to be...
F(x) = 4(0) - 0 to the second power the answer is 0.
The third answer under f(x) is also wrong the answer is...
F(x) = 4(-1) - -1 to the second power the answer is -3.
Looking back I see that under x the number 2 in f(x) is wrong also.
The answer Is f(x) = 4(2) - 2 to the second power equals 4.

In the coordinate plane, the point A, 4− 2 is translated to the point A′, 1− 5. Under the same translation, the points B, 7− 4 a
Inga [223]

Answer:

The coordinates of B' and C' are B'(x,y) = (4, -7) and C'(x,y) = (-1, -8), respectively.

Step-by-step explanation:

From the Linear Algebra, we define the translation of a given point as:

O'(x,y) = O(x,y) + T(x,y) (1)

Where:

O(x,y) - Original point, dimensionless.

T(x,y) - Translation vector, dimensionless.

O'(x,y) - Translated point, dimensionless.

If we know that A'(x,y) = (1, -5) and A(x,y) = (4,-2), then the translation vector is:

T(x,y) = A'(x,y)-A(x,y) (2)

T(x,y) = (1,-5)-(4,-2)

T(x,y) = (-3,-3)

If we know that B(x,y) = (7,-4), C(x,y) = (2,-5) and T(x,y) = (-3,-3), then the translated points are, respectively:

B'(x,y) = B(x,y)+T(x,y) (3)

B'(x,y) = (7,-4) +(-3,-3)

B'(x,y) = (4, -7)

C'(x,y) = C(x,y) +T(x,y)

C'(x,y) = (2,-5) + (-3,-3)

C'(x,y) = (-1, -8)

The coordinates of B' and C' are B'(x,y) = (4, -7) and C'(x,y) = (-1, -8), respectively.

Please show me step by step on how to solve this.
Readme [11.4K]
Well, you have to be given an interval. That is not an interval.

You should be given something like 1 \leq x \leq 2

If you add those fractions up you'll just get a point on the number line.

Find the LCD for all of them which is 9/6 - 4/6 + 3/6 = 8/6 = 2/3

You'll end up with a point on 2/3

Distribute -(-4v+6.3w-9.8)
Firdavs [7]

Answer:

4v-6.3w+9.8

Step-by-step explanation:

If you distribute the negative sign (same as distributing -1), then you get -(-4v) + (-6.3w) - (-(9.8))

Basically it's switching the signs

Hope that helped :)
