Answer:

values and characteristics of integrity, confidence and resolute.

Explanation:

If I was an official or held an important official position, I would acquire the values and characteristics of integrity, confidence and resolute.

An official must have strong moral principles so that he/she would not bend towards corrupted and immoral practices. Therefore, imbibing the quality of integrity will help an official remain committed towards doing the right thing while in office.

An official who is confident would receive lots of respect from everyone. It is important to be confident when a person holds an important official position because many people look up to them.

Lastly, I believe that an official should be resolute. He/she must have an unwavering mind and determined goals. In other words, he/she must be not be affected by failures nor shortcomings while in office.

The correct answer is an internal locus of control.

Locus of control refers to the degree to which people feel they have no control over the events that influence their lives.

Internal control locus is often used as a synonym for "self-determination". Research has suggested that men tend to have a greater locus of internal control than women and that locus of control tends to become more internal as people age. In some situations, an external locus of control can actually be a good thing, especially if a person's level of competence in a particular area is not very high.
