Inferno 1 is the first canto in Dante's Divine Comedy and maybe the most celebrated of the epic lyric.
Dante, creator and hero of the poem, is amidst the trip of his life, in a dull woodland. It is appalling, tangled, and wild, and just its memory makes Dante frightened. He didn't understand what happened in light of the fact that his spirit was lethargic and numb.
Dante envisioned a terrifying woods as an allegory for wrongdoing. While he searches an exit from the timberland, he meets three beasts: a panther, a lion, and a wolf. They compel Dante once more into the dim woodland.
