Which continent was the sight of the initial European imperialistic takeover of land and resources?
konstantin123 [22]
I would say that the South American continent and also the North American continent in Mesoamerica were the two sites where European colonialism mainly of the Spanish colonialists and also the Portuguese were responsible for the stealing of the natural resources and the subjugation of the native peoples like the Incas and Aztecs. While the initial conquests were brutal and barbaric, the good thing that the Spaniards did was inter-marry with the local native people and form a new society of largely mestizo or mixed people.

saveliy_v [14]

Answer:

The popular narrative about its success and enforcement holds that it was poorly enforced and did not stop the rise in real wages. However, immediately after the Black Death, real wages did not rise, despite the labour shortage.

What impact did Amistad Decision have on antislavery movements?
AlexFokin [52]
The Amistad Case is one of the most important to ever come before US courts. It influenced the abolitionist movement and proved that many influential people in the United States were in favor of abolishing slavery on the whole. At the end of a historic case, the U.S. Supreme Court rules, with only one dissent, that the enslaved Africans who seized control of the Amistad slave ship had been illegally forced into slavery, and thus are free under American law.
