In Spanish, there are two words for "you." If you are speaking formally to someone (older person, teacher, boss), the word “uste

d" is used. If you are speaking to a friend or family member, the word "tú" is used. The narrator mentions that in English, there is no "formal usted." Why is that significant?

I think the narrator wants to show the difference in culture norms- the Spanish/ Mexicans ( a majority of them but not all) show respect to their elders and I think in a way the narrator might try to imply that the American culture is dissimilar from that. I’m not too sure but that’s based off what I know from my Mexican family.

Which lines in Wordsworth's lyric poem "The Solitary Reaper present the reaper's song as more beautiful than nature?
mojhsa [17]

Answer:

"Stop here, or gently pass!" (line 4)

Explanation:

On this line the passer, or the writer of this poem was given an option to go on their journey, to enjoy the nature and journey ahead, but the thy lyric poem keeps describing the beauty of the reapers song. This leaves the reader in believe that singing was indeed worthy, or beautiful enough, to stay and listen to, to know more about it.
