An intragroup conflict is a conflict that takes place between one sector or group. The group being the United States, so their was a conflict inside the United States which makes it intragroup.
One of the most effective tools utilized by management was the introduction of scabs or replacement works. The purpose of any strikes is to destabilize the work regimen in a plant or factory to obtain concessions from management. Scabs disrupt this process by crossing picket lines and continuing the work process. In this way, the strike is essentially undermined. Moreover, the striking workers were not allowed to return and thus forfeited their jobs.
The native population of the Spanish colonies (i.e., Native Americans in the area) died off due to wars between Spanish settlers and natives, poor working conditions in enslavement, and the tons of diseases brought over by the Spanish that Native Americans' bodies did not know how to fight all drastically wiped out native Spanish populations. They had to bring in a lot of slaves from Africa to make up for these losses.
