I believe it is Star Wars, because you are adding on that you are watching that particular movie. The sentence would have been fine if you kept it its original way without the ",Star Wars." (We are watching one of my brothers favorite movies).

This story deals on the issue of racial inequality, split identities of the characters, the need to speak out and assert their own voice and also the power of a community. The particular quote of Starr, "<em>There are just some places where it’s not enough to be me. Either version of me</em>." shows her confusion over her split identities. She may be a black girl from a black community, Garden Heights and black heritage but she attends the white school in Williamson Prep. She fluctuates between these two worlds and most of the time she finds it hard to manage both identities making her frustrated, as is evident from the quoted passage.
