To further explain this, when the quote is saying, “whatever you are”, it is referring to what a persons responsibility or occupation might be. By being in that position, the person should “be a good one”, which means that one must put his and or her full effort and take responsibility.

Furthermore, Anthony refers to Brutus, and only to him as “noble”, implying that the company he keeps is not very honorable. And that like “brutish beasts” they have misguided him since he sincerely acted for the good of Rome. And tragically, he has succumbed to such folly since he is “a man that has lost his reason”.
