Answer: They present different challenges by giving each character a tough moment in the story. The author adds times where the characters struggle with how they are living or even trying to stay alive. For example, Isabel's heritage is very important to her but restricts her from doing things as well.

Can someone help me thank you.
FrozenT [24]

Answer:

1. It is a fiction.

It is fiction because the story doesn't sound real. Even though the name of a human was given to the whale, the events that took place in the story are not ideal in an animal kingdom.

2. The lessons I can learn from the story are:

i. Everyone has inherent potentials and should try to find where theirs fit in instead of trying to copy others.

ii. Never give up on yourself. Be persistent in achieving your goals

Explanation:

From the excerpt, we see that the story is an invented story. It is fictitious. The events that took place like the dreaming, the writing of letter, the coming of animals from all over the ocean to hear Lucy sing, etc. are not ideal events in an animal kingdom. Even though the writer is trying to pass a message, yet the story is fiction.

From the story, I learn that one should discover his own inherent potentials and not focus on trying to copy others. Also, I learn that one should not give up on himself. But rather remain persistent until the desired goal or aspiration is achieved.
