Christopher's dad drove out and hit the bike and he got really mad. when he got home he grounded Christopher for leaving his bike behind the car. Christopher what he had done and realize he should never have left the bike behind his dad's car when he leaves early in the morning and doesn't check cuz he has to go in a hurry.

Explanation:

there are other ways the story could have played out but you can infer that this might have happened because of it being out in the driveway behind his dad's car and she left in a hurry and so when he hit it he probably just got very mad
