Italy and Germany were able to unify, in a big part because of B) nationalism. Due to a culture and ideology of the unity of these regions based on national identity there were movements that began to push these societies towards national unification.
The reconstruction plan, developed at a meeting of the participating European states, was drafted on June 5, 1947.
