In a wolf pack, typically, the strongest wolf stays at the rear end of the pack to make sure no wolf is left behind. When hunting the wolves disperse into groups to catch prey for food. Often times, when the wolves run out of food or can’t find any, it’s because the species that they prefer is depleted. This means they have to fluctuate their diet, and sometimes they have to regurgitate food for the young.
