Father Paul rejects the invitation at first, but after a little consideration of all the factors such as respecting the tradition of Laguna Tribe and their will to keep it, also his wish to be well accepted from the people of the tribe, as he is aware that if he wants to spread Christianity in a decent way in which people would change their beliefs and religion because they really want to and not because someone force them to do it, he decides to go and play his part at Teofilo's burial.
