Why is there a female gender and a male gender.. but no non binary gender? Does brainly not support that?

usually in apps when they ask for your gender they give you the options female, male, other, or "rather not say"

I doubt they don't add the option "non-binary" because they don't support that, but rather because they don't consider it as an option or because not many people identify as non-binary. Non-binary is apparently not "legally recognized" as an option

They should, add non-binary as an option so that people can identify themselves freely :'
