Answer:

21 ft by 66 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question,

P = 2(L+W)............... Equation 1

Where P = Perimeter of the playing Field, L = Length of the playing Field, W = width of the playing Field.

If the Length of the Field is 45 ft longer than the width,

L = 45+W............ Equation 2

Substitute Equation 2 into equation 1

P = 2(45+W+W)

P = 90+4W............. Equation 3

Given: P = 174 ft.

Substitute into equation 3

174 = 90+4W

4W = 174-90

4W = 84

W = 84/4

W = 21 ft.

Substituting the value of W into equation 2

L = 45+21

L = 66 ft.

Hence the dimensions of the playing field is 21 ft by 66 ft

If x, y, and z are integers greater than 1, and (327)(510)(z) = (58)(914)(xy), then what is the value of x?
algol [13]

Answer:

Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient.

Explanation:

As in the equation (327)(510)(z) = (58)(914)(xy) there are THREE variables in total i.e. "x", "y" and "z" hence minimum three equations are required to find out values of all variables. Hence,

If the given number of equations is equal to total variable used in any of the equation, values of all the variables can be find out otherwise there can be unlimited number of solutions.

So, value of "x" cannot be determined with the given data.

Hi can someone please help me?
marshall27 [118]
Both can be right because if the function goes up, turns and goes down, between x = -2 and x = 2, it can happen that f(-2) = f(2) and then the average rate of change is [f(2) - f(-2)] / [2-(-2)] which is 0/4 = 0.

Please help hard math lots of points
avanturin [10]

Answer:

C- y=2|x+2|

Step-by-step explanation:

When the number is inside the absolute value bars, the value shifts- so a positive two would move left two, and a negative two would move right two. If the number was outside of the equation, the shape would move up or down- a positive two would move the shape up two, and a negative two would move the graph down two.

One alloy is 2 parts iron to 3 parts silver and another alloy is 7 parts iron to 3 parts silver. How much of each should be comb
Shalnov [3]
Let x be your first alloy
2/5x+7/10(30-x)=1/2(30)
4x+210-7x=150
3x=60
x=20
So, you need 20 lbs of the first alloy, and 10 parts of the second to make 30 lbs of half iron and half silver alloy!
