Answer:

First of all the wars between the Ottoman and Safavid Empires were the result of the threat that the Safavids were to the Ottoman Empire and imperialism by both empires. The origins of the war lie with the establishment of the Safavid state. In 1500 Ismail led his Shia warrior sect of Azerbaijan to rebel against the Ak Koyunlu Sultanate.

Answer:

Explanation:

The source of the conflict between the Ottomans and the Safavids was religious; the Ottomans were sunni, the Safavids were shia, and both the sultan and the shah claimed to be the leader of Islam. As such, Safavid expansion and massacres of Sunni Muslims goaded the Ottomans into action against them.

Question 3 (1 point) What did Marqués de San Miguel de Aguayo accomplish? establishing a sea connection linking La Bahia at Mata
mario62 [17]

Answer:

Marqués de Aguayo (marqués de San Miguel de Aguayo y Santa Olalla; b. ca. 1677; d. 9 March 1734), rancher, military governor of Coa-huila and Texas. Born in Spain to a landed family of Aragon, Aguayo married Ignacia Xaviera Echeverz Subiza y Valdés, heiress to the marquisate of San Miguel de Aguayo, through whom he acquired his title. In 1712 the couple moved to Coahuila, where Aguayo took over the administration of the family estates, increasing holdings by over 3 million acres by the time of his death.

Aguayo served as governor of Coahuila and Texas from 1719 to 1722. In 1716 he had provided livestock to the Domingo Ramón expedition, which established the permanent occupation of Texas. Three years later, in response to a French attack on the Spanish in east Texas, Aguayo offered to mount an expedition to drive the French out. Receiving a viceregal commission to raise five hundred men, he proceeded in 1720 to San Antonio and then to Los Adaes (present-day Robeline, Louisiana), where he restored the abandoned presidio and missions. He also founded Presidio de los Texas, near present-day Nacogdoches, and Presidio Bahía del Espíritu Santo (now Goliad, Texas). Soon after his return to Coahuila, Aguayo resigned the governorship, citing poor health. Philip V rewarded Aguayo for his services in Texas by naming him field marshal in 1724.

sasho [114]

Answer:

Gandhi’s view of British rule and Englishmen as friends and enemy and the  British rule and Englishmen thought of them as a piece of trash. The Gandhian strategy is the combination of truth, sacrifice, non- violence, selfless service and cooperation. According to Gandhi one should be brave and not a coward. He should present his views, suggestions and thoughts without being violent. One should fight a war with the weapons of truth and non violence.

Explanation:

  • Gandhi believed impoverished the Indian people by destroying their village-based cloth-making industry. The second evil was Hindu-Muslim disunity caused by years of religious hatred. The last evil was the Hindu tradition of classifying millions of Indians as a caste of "untouchables".
  • Mahatma Gandhi became a leader of the Indian community and over the years developed a political movement based on the methods of non-violent civil disobedience. Mahatma Gandhi believed in the unity of all mankind under one god.
